Ka'eleku Caverns

At Ka'eleku Caverns you can journey back in time into an incredible underground world that's been preserved unchanged for 30,000 years. Walk the winding trails of this ancient underground lava tube system safely and easily. Witness fascinating worlds of Stalactites, Stalagmites and fantastic lava formations created thousand of years ago.

Lava tube tours are led by experienced, knowledgeable caving guides who explain how the cavern was formed geologically and interpret the lava formations within.

From Kahului, drive the Hana Highway past mile marker #31. Turn left on Ulaino Road. Drive 4/10 of a mile to the Caverns. Allow 3 hours drive from Kihei or West Maui.
